Outside

The entire backside of the house is floor to ceiling windows, which offers the illusion of being outside, and also serves as great wildlife viewing.
The creek paths serve as a freeway for deer, red fox, coyote, possum, racoon and even the occasional mink.

The cantilever deck spans the length of the house, connecting the kitchen to the master bedroom.

The sunroom has had several iterations over the 60+ years of its existence. It was originally an open air courtyard; then transformed into a sunroom with a pyramidal glass roof in the late 70’s.

We gave it a proper flat roof with clerestory windows in 2017 due to the uninhabitable environment created by the glass pyramid. It became brutally hot in the summer months and was becoming increasingly expensive to maintain.
